You need a routine.
And if you think you don’t need a routine because you’re a "Web3 Chad", you probably don’t realize you already have a "routine" but not an intentional one.
99% of people that do Web3:
- have bad sleep patterns
- barely eat well (junk mostly)
- rarely leave the comfort of their house
- don’t see any need to hit the gym
- glued to their screen all-day
Chasing the bag doesn’t mean you should kill yourself slowly.
The little things we do every day eventually make our reality.
Before we dive in:

Redesigning your routine
In every video game, there are rules.
Without these rules, there won’t be a game.
And without a game, there’s no winning.
A routine contains the rules for how you live your life.
If you continue to play the game long enough, you get better, and often even forget the rules—still win anyway.
A powerful and intentional routine will:
- Increase productivity
- Build discipline
- Reduce stress
- Improve time management
Without a routine that you create, your life slowly falls apart.
You would have frequent burnout.
You get easily overwhelmed.
You tend to decline down a direction of chaotic grinding, responsibilities, and a personality you despise.
The mind craves order, a routine, it helps you to focus your attention to make actions seamless.
"Being consistent is hard"
This sentence is one thing I hear often when I talk to people about having a routine.
The truth is, you don’t need motivation or discipline when you’re the person who would take certain actions.
A gamer doesn’t need discipline to stay at the screen all day.
A programmer doesn’t need motivation to code.
A writer doesn’t need motivation to get creative and write.
That’s because their survival is at stake.
And that is more mental than physical.
This entire concept goes very deep.
But you need a plan.
“You don’t want to wake up 40 years later, wondering, “Where did time go?”
The Daily Routine Guide for a Web3 Chad (This is how you change your life)
You need 4 habits:
- One that builds your mind
- One that builds your body
- One that builds your business
- One that builds your relationships
If you aren’t building your mind, body, business (or skills), or relationships— what the hell are you doing?
You: “But Phoenixx, I want to enjoy my life and do whatever the hell I want.”
Quick question:
Do you understand what enjoyment is when compared to Pleasure?
Do you realize humans are naturally wired to grow, create, and improve as part of our evolution?
I don’t want this letter to sound “preachy and confusing.”
So, let’s get practical …
How to build a healthy routine
- Align your future with a holistic goal:
To build a future aligned with your goals, recognize the problems that drive you.
Your goals shape how you see the world and what you consider important.
For example, if you’re into Web3 and have financial challenges, you'll see opportunities in different ways depending on whether you're looking for a job or aiming to start a business.
The first step to change is becoming fully aware of the issues that make you want to improve.
Everyone has problems, but the biggest issue is often not recognizing them.
Think about what could go wrong if you keep doing what you’re doing now, whether in your career, finances, or relationships.
Once you have that clear picture, set a big, holistic goal that covers all areas of your life. From there, we’ll work on how to close the gap between your current situation and your future vision through learning and developing new skills.
- Daily self-education is IMPORTANT
Daily self-education is essential, especially in Web3 where things evolve quickly.
Traditional schooling only teaches a small slice of what’s out there, often missing the bigger picture of how everything connects.
By focusing on self-education, you expand your mind, discover new ideas, and keep your brain energized. It gives you the clarity and knowledge to pursue your goals effectively. Over time, learning new things will change how you think and act.
If you constantly learn about building a profitable business, you’ll eventually know how to do it. Just like it took years for traditional education to shape your actions, self-education will gradually reshape your mindset and guide you toward your goals.
To reach your goals, you need the right skills. If you’re not where you want to be, it’s because you haven’t yet learned the skills required to get there. The only thing that can stop you is losing focus.
Skills can be learned and trained. Just like you learned to walk and talk, which are incredibly complex skills, you can learn anything—even how to succeed in the Web3 world.
Here’s what you need:
1. Daily Learning: Spend 30-60 minutes each day learning—reading, taking courses, listening to podcasts, and gathering knowledge that helps you act.
2. Daily Practice: Spend another 30-60 minutes applying what you’ve learned. Try it out, see what works, and adjust until you succeed.
True learning happens when you struggle and solve problems. As you face challenges in the real world, your mind will start filtering what you learn to help you overcome those obstacles.
By sticking to this cycle and building for a few years, you’ll be amazed at how far you can go.
This topic is broad.
Building a routine is something I'm experimenting with for myself.
This is the first part of a series of newsletters I intend to send, fleshing out this topic.
But I hope you learned one, two, or ten things.
Until next time,
– Phoenixx.
