“You’re not doing ENOUGH!”
This is one thought line that hangs in the minds of 99% of people doing something new or trying to get better at something.
The thought of:
- Not doing enough
- Not being enough
“The reason people fail is they can’t lift the emotional weight required to achieve the goals they set” – Dan Koe.
The average mind travels between 60,000 - 80,000 thoughts per day.
And for every 1 good thought, there are 100 bad thoughts ready to beat down.
Thoughts dressed in “what if”.
What if people laugh at me?
What if my content doesn’t get read?
What if my followers don’t grow in number?
Developing CONFIDENCE isn’t a small task, but it’s necessary (That’s why I’ll talk about it deeper in another letter).
Before you jump in …
Subtle reminder:
If you’re interested in learning how to write content that:
- Captivates and builds you a solid audience
- Helps you connect with top chads in the space (the right and non-ass licking way)
- Help you you land high paying clients or investors
I’ve packed it all in the Mastering Content Writing course and its currently on preorder.
Preorder ends Thursday, 19th September(Afterwards you’d pay a higher price for it)

I was going to title this letter: The subtle art of not giving a F*ck!
But this one is more about Productivity – doing important stuff with less time.
Although I’m currently experimenting with how to weave different concepts together, Like:
Productivity and Confidence.
How does being Productive make you Confident (not proud)?
Well, let’s see …
24/7 Grind
In a space like web3, grinding 24/7 is tempting...
It’s almost like when you transition from web2 to web3 there is no rest for you in the world again.
It either:
- Getting users on your platform
- Getting a job and working with a team
- Hunting alpha airdrops
- Gambling or degen-ing solid (or rubbish) meme.
Something new is always happening.
But we can’t blame the space for demanding so much time and energy for a growing industry valued at $8 billion (estimated to grow to 71.96 billion by 2031) and top money movers like BlackRock jumping in on it — it’s worth the attention.
But here’s a truth you probably don’t want to hear:
Solid results don’t depend on working 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
It’s not about grinding away at every airdrop link that comes your way.
Being productive is about:
- Leveraging skill
- Leveraging time
- Leveraging the tech
The approach I’ll share in this letter isn’t just another productivity hack, it’s a complete mindset shift.
The people making millions in any space, especially in Web3 aren’t necessarily grinding harder—they do it smarter.
80/20 Pareto Rule
Vilfredo Pareto was harvesting pea pods from his garden one day and made a crazy discovery:
'Roughly 20% of the harvested peas produced 80% of the fruits.'
He decided to experiment further.
Vilfredo was an Italian economist, he experimented with this 80/20 principle on wealth distribution and noticed that 80% of Italy’s wealth was held by 20% of the population.
This didn’t only apply to wealth distribution but to almost every other sector, where a minority of causes (20%) lead to the majority of effects (80%).
Likewise productivity, Only a small portion of things you do leads to a majority of your results.
I'm still yet to see a person who sits down to work for 6 hours straight without stopping and getting real work done. Even if they could, it'd cause bad burnout, which leads to feeling overwhelmed.
The brain has a stretched amount of time for creativity (between 90mins – 120mins).
This means, your brain can go in a flow state of creativity for approximately 120mins before it begins to windle, especially with distractions coming in.
A TASK for you
Take out a piece of note or your journal and write down everything you do for your money-making business.
Here's how mine looks:
> Write content for my page.
> Attend to client work.
> Connect with at least 2 persons.
> New client acquisition (Pitching, calls, closing).
> Attend Spaces (Good ones).
> Occasionally airdrop engagements
This is a condensed version of what my business in Web3 looks like currently.
Boost Confidence 100%
Have a goal for the next 10 years, Break down the roadmap into 5 years, 6 months, weekly, and daily goals.
The mind craves order, goal setting is meant to help your mind find order. It’s not just something to write for your “new year or new month resolution”.
See this as a video game …
There are levels in a game and each of these levels come with different challenges.
The more you play the game, the better you become.
The more skills you acquire, the higher you climb in levels.
At each level, there are big and small goals (small goals like killing an alien or zombie, big goals like reaching the final destination for that level).
Here are two formulas I coined:
Productivity = Effective use of time x High leverage task
Confidence = Productivity x Practice
The sense of accomplishment you get from doing quality work boosts your confidence level to the highest.
It shows you are capable of achieving anything you set your mind to do.
I hope this makes some sense.
- Phoenixx
Phoenixx this really go along way and I know I have to work on many on my self.
Because I was thinking to go straight into hunting for 36 hours. But now I know is not just the hours that matter but is it productivity.
Thank you.
